The company specializes in residential home energy audits that evaluates a home based on construction installations means, methods & standard of practice and perform independent verification services to show how leaky a house actually is. Based on the results from the independent testing procedures, the builder/owner can qualify for tax incentives and rebates from LIPA & the federal government. Home Energy Compliance Raters' president and founder, Robert Alweis created the company to assist customers with designing and rating new & existing homes as energy star. Robert Alweis is a professional engineer that has the knowledge and experience with building science. Robert Alweis, PE is also a Board Certified Building Inspection Engineer.
